If they told that won't be conflicted, you can try using it. I didn't yet use any plugin to create a Landing page. So I can not give you any recommendation.

Unfortunately, we didn't yet use this plugin. Thrive Architect is also a page buider plugin. So it may conflict with Visual Composer. But I'm not sure. You should ask the author of Visual Composer about this https://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments. They may know it.
